Dataset Basics

Marion County 2003 color ortho imagery was provided by the Indianapolis Mapping and Geographic Infrastructure System. The archive includes 137 GB of original-resolution TIFF images and 5 GB of MrSID mosaics. A shapefile index showing the spatial extent of the tif image tiles is available by downloading "all_metadata03.zip" from the website directory link above.

File Format

Original-resolution images are available in TIFF format. MrSID mosaics are available for the nine townships, the IUPUI campus, and the entire Marion County area.
