2006 Statewide Imagery
Dataset Basics
Due to an early spring, the 2005 IndianaMap Orthophotography Project contains images with leaf-on conditions. To correct this, EarthData reflew the areas with heavy leaves. The 2006 orthophotography is not a state-wide dataset but contains imagery and elevation for those counties that were affected by the leaf-on conditions during 2005.

The Indiana 2006 digital orthophotography reflight was collected during February and March leaf-off conditions at a minimum resolution of 1-foot. Twenty-eight 1-foot counties have select areas involved in reflights. The involved counties are Adams, Brown, Clark, Crawford, Daviess, Greene, Harrison, Hendricks, Huntington, Jackson, Jasper, Lawrence, Morgan, Newton, Noble, Orange, Owen, Pike, Porter, Posey, Spencer, St. Joseph, Wabash, Warrick, Wells and White. The following eleven 6-in resolution counties were involved: Dubois, Elkhart, Floyd, Kosciusko, Lake, Marion, Monroe, Perry, Steuben, Tippecanoe, and Vanderburgh. EarthData reflew Dubois and Perry Counties in their entirety. Indiana University created MrSID 2006 countywide mosaics for only these two counties.
